LDN targets low- income young women, single mothers and their little girls. According to the 2016 census, 23% of families with children under 18 are single –mothers and out of the 11 million single-parent households, 8.5 millions of those are led by moms.
We promote sexual health and awareness; respect for one’s self and others by temperance and good moral character to empower young women, single mothers and their girls to become financially literate, independent and responsible through empowerment, encouragement and educational programs.
As a Non-Profit, Voluntary help mentor a girl campaign, we would appreciate any donations (no matter how small) to enable us to continue our work. Donations will go towards producing additional handouts, posters, mentorship programs & merchandise to help 'spread the word'.
